Just found out my atm card was cloned and used at the Publix #214 in Margate, FL (couple of hundred of dollars), minutes later they used it again at the Walgreens across the Street another couple of hundred of dollars. What a shame; nothing to do with these stores but be aware when you swipe your cards..............

  • Lester's Diner No.2/Margate, John (guest) wrote 10 years ago:
My wife and I took our five year old granddaughter to breakfast at the Margate Lester’s Diner this morning. We have been customers for twenty-five years or more. We ask for and were given a booster for our granddaughter. She can’t fit in a high chair and can’t reach the table from the chair. We have never had a problem with getting a booster but after we received breakfast the waitress came to the table and said the manager sent her to tell us we couldn’t use the booster due to insurance regulations. When we starting asking questions the waitress brought back a nasty manager who said we had two choices, my granddaughter could sit in a high chair or on a chair. I guess this is the new child unfriendly Lester’s Diner. She told us a child had fallen off the chair in a booster and they couldn’t use them anymore. They make boosters with straps but I guess that would cost them money and that wasn’t given as a future choice. I don’t know why the booster was available and given to us in the first place, if they weren’t permitted to be used. I would also like to know why the nasty manager waited to tell us until after the meal was delivered. They lost a loyal customer.

I have eaten here many times in the past year. and always go with a several co-workers. My last visit has now been my final one. ca grilled chicken breast to over 30 minutes to get to me. evryone else had finishe their meals, so i got it to-go. The employee's were not appologetic and did not seem to understand why I was upset. When I got back to work and opened my food. I found the chicken WAY undercooked.

Yeah, This is their temporary location until like September or October 2009. I hear that they are moving into a new location after that in Dania Beach on I-95 near Griffin Road in South Fort Lauderdale. These guys actually have two Florida locations, one in Fort Lauderdale and one in Fort Myers (main) They are going to have a full RV parts and service department at the new Dania Beach location. They have quite a few RV brands they carry, like Newmar, Tiffin Motorhomes, Fleetwood RV, Keystone RV, Jayco, Winnebago, Aerolite, Dutchmen, Holiday Rambler and Monaco Coach. My buddy bought a new Newmar motorhome from them and said they were great to deal both in sales and service departments. He really loves his Newmar Essex diesel motorhome he got from North Trail RV Center. They claim they are the World's Largest Newmar RV Dealer and South Florida's largest Rv dealer. I have been to their Fort Myers dealership, but never to the Margate or Dania Beach store yet, even though I live in nearby Boca Raton.
